MOO KOH ANG THONG & A UNIQUE TRIP TO PIG ISLAND
Undoubtedly, one of the most unique and spectacular sights at The Beach Samui are the endless views over the necklace of 42 islands that make up the Moo Koh Ang Thong, national marine park. With an enviable position at the gateway to these islands . The Beach Samui team are on hand to ensure you make the most of this access with a private boat tour. The islands and the waters are a popular destination for day-trips from the nearby islands for snorkelling, canoeing and kayaking, enjoying the beaches, hiking and more.
Only recently growing in popularity is Koh Madsum or ‘Pig Island’ as it is now better known. A tiny island with a small population, local café owner Mr Kitt fell in love with a family of four pigs who were off to market on the mainland. He rescued them and now three generations of pigs thrive on Pig Island. Visitors love to play with them on the beach where they live, bringing watermelon and corn to help keep them at their happiest. A trip to Pig Island is not to be missed!
